However, it cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows XP or Vista.

I bought the Windows XP and Vista 2 Disc Recovery Set for 32 Bit systems only to find that when you put in your Product Key it is invalid. So I called the computer manufacturer and they told me that this is an illegal copy and the only way to fix the problem is to 1) buy one from them authorized by them for their product or 2) install without the product key which means I lose information and the computer will after 30 days not allow me on the internet and I can lose data and information. I will have to buy a new installation/recovery disc --from them.What a buch of crap. There was one part where it was supposedly "finding the virus" and said it might take a while. I left my computer on the whole night and into the afternoon of the next day and still no sign of progress. I attempted this twice and no joy. The recovery disc matched my computer and it says its a two disc recovery system but it only came with one disc. This product does not work, bootleg crap. |
